Dear GCLE Families,
We hope you are staying safe and warm. Due to the weather conditions in the past few days and potentially in the next few days, we are preparing to utilize NTI, or Non-Traditional Instructional Days. While school is closed, we want to ensure that our students stay engaged in their learning. We need your help to make this as successful as it can be.
Non-Traditional Instructional Days are used when the school campus is closed for health reasons, safety concerns, or weather related situations.
You can access your child’s NTI packet in the following ways:
- Paper Packet: We sent packets home with each child in their blue folder.
- Class DOJO: Your childs teacher can send you a copy of the packets via class dojo or you can access them on the website.
- Email: The packet will be emailed to you directly with the current email that you have entered on your child’s Infinite Campus portal.
- Website: Each days packet is posted on the webpage by grade level.
Please note that students have five days after we return to school to complete their NTI work. This will provide ample time for students to finish their assignments. We do hope you will help them to have these tasks completed prior to returning to school. We need a large percentage of students completing their work so we have enough data in order to not make up the day.
